At the request of a client, Joe and I recently spent a wonderful early Sunday morning photographing Fort Mifflin. The base was erected in 1771 and served as a U.S. military post until the 1950’s. Its location is in close proximity to the Philadelphia International Airport. The photo shoot served as an interesting challenge for us as its location is right below the pathway used by arriving airplanes/jets which fly only 1,000 feet or so above the fort every 15 minutes or so.
While photographing the fort at times there exists a certain feeling that these planes will be bearing down on you “guns a blazing” during their ‘pass-by’. Our images and final framed collage photograph depicted here is a Christmas gift for a gentleman who has recorded paranormal readings at Fort Mifflin. Pretty cool experience!
This is what we love to do. Capturing your legacy memories forever!
